Teachers Returning from Military Leave. Upon return from military leave, a teacher shall be placed on the salary table at the level that the teacher would have achieved had he or she remained actively employed in the Schools during the period of absence, not to exceed a maximum of four (4) years. A year shall be defined as at least eight (8) months of military service or a combination of military service and teaching experience occurring between the dates of July 1 and June 30.
