Teacher Assignment Notification. Each teacher will be able to review in the student management database his/her first (1st) semester class assignments prior to the last day of school. In general, the class and extracurricular assignments of any teacher in Glenbard Township High School District #87 will not be altered after the last day of school in June, except in the case of emergencies caused by resignation, illness, death, or course enrollment fluctuations. In such cases when it becomes necessary to change these assignments, the Building Principal and/or Department Chair will consult with any teacher involved. If this contact is not possible, the teacher will be notified by certified mail, using the teacher's summer mailing address. Notifications will also be sent to the Building Glenbard Education Association President.

Teacher Assignment Notification. No later than fourteen (14) days prior to the first teacher workday of each year, teachers shall be informed of their specific building, grade level, teaching schedule and subject area assignments. Changes after the deadline shall be kept to a minimum. If the teacher prefers not to accept the change in assignment, the teacher may resign without penalty.

Under normal circumstances, the teachers will be notified by the Administration in writing of their programs for the coming school year, including the school(s) to which they will be assigned, the grades and/or subjects that they will teach, and any special or unusual classes that they will have by one (1) week before the close of school. Changes in such programs may be made after one (1) week before the close of school, if necessary, and the teachers involved in the change will be notified as soon as possible.

  • Assignment with Prior Consent Except as provided in Section 12.2 to this Appendix 2, no Interconnection Party shall assign its rights or delegate its duties, or any part of such rights or duties, under the Interconnection Service Agreement without the written consent of the other Interconnection Parties, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned, or delayed. Any such assignment or delegation made without such written consent shall be null and void. An Interconnection Party may make an assignment in connection with the sale, merger, or transfer of a substantial portion or all of its properties including the Interconnection Facilities which it owns, so long as the assignee in such a sale, merger, or transfer assumes in writing all rights, duties and obligations arising under this Interconnection Service Agreement. In addition, the Interconnected Transmission Owner shall be entitled, subject to Applicable Laws and Regulations, to assign the Interconnection Service Agreement to any Affiliate or successor that owns and operates all or a substantial portion of the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s transmission facilities.

  • Acting Assignment Pay 181. Employees assigned by the Appointing Officer or its designee to perform a substantial portion of the duties and responsibilities of a higher classification shall receive compensation at a higher salary if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Assignment of Contract A. Unless expressly agreed to elsewhere in the Contract, no assignment by a party hereto of any rights under or interests in the Contract will be binding on another party hereto without the written consent of the party sought to be bound; and, specifically but without limitation, money that may become due and money that is due may not be assigned without such consent (except to the extent that the effect of this restriction may be limited by law), and unless specifically stated to the contrary in any written consent to an assignment, no assignment will release or discharge the assignor from any duty or responsibility under the Contract Documents.

  • Antitrust Assignment The Contractor and the State of Florida recognize that in actual economic practice, overcharges resulting from antitrust violations are in fact usually borne by the State of Florida. Therefore, the contractor hereby assigns to the State of Florida any and all claims for such overcharges as to goods, materials or services purchased in connection with the Contract.

  • Union Notification The Union shall be notified of all appointments, hirings, layoffs, transfers, recalls and terminations of employment.
