Change in Assignment. Should it become necessary to make changes in an employee's assignment, the person responsible for making the change shall notify the employee prior to making such change and shall specify such change in writing.
Change in Assignment. (1) If it should become necessary to make changes in a faculty member’s assignment, the person responsible for making the change shall notify the faculty member as soon as practicable prior to making such change and shall specify the change in writing.
Change in Assignment. 25.05.1 Professional Staff Members requesting a change of grade level in their building or teaching subject area assignment in their building, and in accordance with their certification, shall submit a request in writing, by April 1st, to their Building Principal. The building Principal shall respond in writing regarding this request.
Change in Assignment. In the interest of both parties, a teacher shall be informed of his/her teaching assignment or any changes thereof, prior to the end of the school year or as early as possible in cases of emergency.
Change in Assignment. 9.1 An employee with permanent status in the current class who meets all University eligibility requirements may apply for a change in assignment to a different position in the same class or a different class having the same pay range maximum, a different work unit, or a different shift at the University according to University procedures. Prior to filling a vacancy, except by demotion, the University shall consider the needs of the Department and applicable change in assignment requests. The hiring authority shall normally fill a bonafide vacancy based on an employee's seniority, skills, knowledge, experience, performance, and training. Any training or experiential opportunities specifically related to a foreseen vacancy shall be offered on a competitive basis based upon the factors listed above.
Change in Assignment. Teachers requesting a change in grade level, subject area, or building shall notify the Superintendent in writing by March 30. If requested, a teacher desiring a change of assignment may meet with the building principal or principals involved and the Superintendent to discuss the request.
Change in Assignment. 355. Subject to the approval of the Appointing Officer and the operational needs of the department, a Level I employee who possesses the requisite Level II qualifications and who is assigned the Level II duties shall be assigned to Level II and appointed at the Step corresponding to the requisite years of experience.
Change in Assignment. A pool of nine (9) days district-wide will be made available at the non-instructional rate of pay.
Change in Assignment. Any change in a teacher's assignment from Subd. 1. above after August 1st may only be made after consultation with the teacher.
Change in Assignment. The participation of employees in job sharing shall be on a voluntary basis. An employee who is employed on a full-time basis and who desires to participate in a job-sharing position shall inform the Superintendent in writing that s/he is willing to accept the reduction from a full-time to a part-time position. Such teacher shall also indicate, in writing, that s/he understands that once such reduction to a part-time position is made, the teacher cannot thereafter displace or intrude upon the position of a less senior teacher to attain full-time status. This would not preclude a job sharer from applying for full time vacancies which arise to which no teacher on a recall list is entitled to be recalled. In the event that the job-sharing position is eliminated the more senior job sharing teacher will fill the position which was formally shared. The less senior job sharer will be given preference for a full-time vacancy, if qualified in the opinion of the Superintendent. If there is not a full-time vacancy available, then s/he will be placed on the recall list in accordance with Article XXXII.
