Shift assignment definition

Shift assignment means the shift and any parameters associated with the shift, which may include, without limitation, work days, work hours, work locations, days off and work assignments, collectively the shift assignment elements.
Shift assignment. A one (1) year period, to begin on a date determined by the Department, that an officer works on a designated shift as determined by seniority through the shift selection process.   • Shift assignment selections will correspond in accordance with seniority.

  • Section 2 Shift assignment shall fall under management rights with consideration to seniority.
