Step One - Immediate Supervisor. An employee shall inform the immediate supervisor of the grievance in writing on the standard grievance form. If an employee representative expressly requests a discussion with the immediate supervisor concerning the written grievance, such discussion shall take place within seven (7) days after filing the grievance unless the time is mutually extended.
