Statement of Political Contributions. Contractor shall comply with the Election Law Article, Title 14 Subtitle 1, Md. Code Xxx., which requires that a person doing public business with the State, shall file a statement with the State Board of Elections as provided in section 14- 104. Generally, this applies to every person that enters into contracts, leases, or other agreements with the State of Maryland or a political subdivision of the State, including its agencies, during a calendar year in which the person receives in the aggregate $200,000 or more, shall file with the State Board of Election a statement disclosing contributions in excess of $500 made during the reporting period to a candidate for elective office in any primary or general election.

  • Political Contributions The Company has not directly or indirectly, (a) made any unlawful contribution to any candidate for public office, or failed to disclose fully any contribution in violation of law, or (b) made any payment to any federal, state, local, or foreign governmental officer or official, or other person charged with similar public or quasi-public duties, other than payments required or permitted by the laws of the United States or any other such jurisdiction.

  • Political Contribution Disclosure The Contractor shall comply with the Maryland Code Annotated, Election Law Article, §§14-101—14-108, which requires that every person that enters into contracts, leases or other agreements with the State, a county, or an incorporated municipality, or their agencies, during a calendar year in which the person receives in the aggregate $100,000 or more, shall file with the State Board of Elections a statement disclosing contributions in excess of $500 made during the reporting period to a candidate for elective office in any primary or general election. The statement shall be filed with the State Board of Elections: (1) before a purchase or execution of a lease or contract by the State, a county, an incorporated municipality, or their agencies, and shall cover the preceding two calendar years; and (2) if the contribution is made after the execution of a lease or contract, then twice a year, throughout the contract term, on: (a) February 5, to cover the 6-month period ending January 31; and (b) August 5, to cover the 6-month period ending July 31.

  • Campaign Contributions / Lobbying Funds provided through a grant award or contract shall not be given or received in exchange for the making of a campaign contribution. No part of the funds provided through this contract shall be used to influence or attempt to influence an officer or employee of any State of Kansas agency or a member of the Legislature regarding any pending legislation or the awarding, extension, continuation, renewal, amendment or modification of any government contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement.

  • Tax Credit for Contributions You may be eligible to receive a tax credit for your IRA contributions. This credit will be allowed in addition to any tax deduction that may apply, and may not exceed $1,000 in a given year. You may be eligible for this tax credit if you are • age 18 or older as of the close of the taxable year, • not a dependent of another taxpayer, and • not a full-time student. The credit is based upon your income (see chart below), and will range from 0 to 50 percent of eligible contributions.   • Administration of the Contributions 1.1. The Bank shall be responsible only for performing those functions specifically set forth in this Agreement and shall not be subject to any other duties or responsibilities to the Donors, including, without limitation, any duties or obligations that might otherwise apply to a fiduciary or trustee under general principles of trust or fiduciary law. Nothing in this Agreement shall be considered a waiver of any privileges or immunities of the IBRD and XXX under their Articles of Agreement or any applicable law, all of which are expressly reserved.

  • Campaign Contributions The CONTRACTOR is hereby notified of the applicability of 11-355, HRS, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from specified state or county government contractors during the terms of their contracts if the contractors are paid with funds appropriated by a legislative body.

  • Saver’s Credit for IRA Contributions A credit of up to $1,000, or up to $2,000 if married filing jointly, may be available to certain taxpayers having a joint AGI of less than $65,000 in 2020, or $66,000 in 2021. The credit may also be available to certain taxpayers who are heads of household with an AGI of less than $48,750 in 2020, $49,500 in 2021, or married individuals filing separately and singles with an AGI less than $32,500 in 2020, or $33,000 in 2021. Some of the restrictions that apply include: • the individual must be at least 18; • not a full-time student; • not declared as a dependent on another taxpayer’s return; or • any distribution from most retirement plans (qualified and non-qualified) will decrease the eligible contribution.

  • Initial Contributions The Members initially shall contribute to the Company capital as described in Schedule 2 attached to this Agreement.

  • Additional Contributions The Member is not required to make any additional capital contribution to the Company. However, the Member may at any time make additional capital contributions to the Company in cash or other property.

  • Additional Capital Contributions No Member shall be required to make additional capital contributions. A Member may make additional capital contributions to the Company.
