Political Contributions. The Company has not directly or indirectly, (a) made any unlawful contribution to any candidate for public office, or failed to disclose fully any contribution in violation of law, or (b) made any payment to any federal, state, local, or foreign governmental officer or official, or other person charged with similar public or quasi-public duties, other than payments required or permitted by the laws of the United States or any other such jurisdiction.

Political Contributions. Neither the Company nor any of its Subsidiaries has, directly or indirectly, at any time (x) made any contributions to any candidate for political office, or failed to disclose fully any such contribution, in violation of law; (y) made any payment to any state, federal or foreign governmental officer or official, or other person charged with similar public or quasi-public duties, other than payments required or allowed by all applicable laws; or (z) violated nor is it in violation of any provision of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, as amended.
Political Contributions. 1.10.1. No funds or assets of HII shall be used for federal, state or local political campaign contributions. This prohibition covers not only direct contributions but also indirect assistance or support of candidates or political parties through purchase of tickets to special dinners or other fund-raising events, or the furnishing of any other goods, services or equipment to political parties or committees.

This authorization is voluntarily made based on my specific understanding that the signing of this authorization card and the making of these voluntary contributions are not conditions of membership in the Union or of employment be my Employer, that I may refuse to contribute without reprisal; that the PAT-PC and the AFL-CIO COPE are engaged in joint fund raising and use the money they receive for political purposes, including but not limited to making contributions to and expenditures for candidates for federal, state and local offices and addressing political issues of public importance; and that the guideline amount indicated above is only a suggestion and I may continue more or less and will not be favored or disadvantaged by the Union or my employer for doing so.
Political Contributions. If this contract involves cumulative consideration of at least $200,000, the Contractor shall file with the State Board of Elections a statement under oath containing: (i) the name of each candidate, if any, to whom one or more applicable contributions in a cumulative amount of $500 or more were made during the reporting period; (ii) the office sought by each candidate; (iii) the amount of aggregate contributions made to each candidate; (iv) the name of each unit of a governmental entity with which the person did public business during the reporting period; (v) the nature and amount of public business done with the City; and (vi) if the contract or the contribution is attributed to another person who is filing the statement, the name of the contracting entity or the person who made the contribution and the relationship of that person to the person filing the statement. The Contractor’s initial statement shall be field at that time of the inception of the contract, and shall cover the preceding 24 months, and the Contractor shall thereafter file a semi-annual statement, for the six months ending on January 31 or July 31 of every year, for each reporting period during which performance remains uncompleted on the contract, and shall be filed within 5 days after the end of the applicable reporting period.

Political Contributions. H. Other deductions as agreed to by the parties to this Agreement. Unless otherwise stated, the Treasurer will begin payroll deductions upon authorization of the employee requesting such actions and will promptly deliver monies deducted to the authorized parties on a monthly basis.
Political Contributions. Upon the written authorization of a bargaining unit member the Board shall cause to have deducted from said member’s wages a prescribed amount as his/her contribution to a political organization(s), party(ies), and nonpartisan issue(s). The minimum deduction is established at a rate of two dollars ($2.00) per month beginning in October and ending in May. Money so deducted shall be forwarded on the payroll day on which it is made, to the political organization(s) designated by the member.
