STAND-BY WORK. 28.01 STAND-BY PERIOD. An Employee shall be deemed to be on stand-by work when the Employee is assigned by the Employer to be available for a specific period by leaving word as to where the Employee may be reached for the purpose of responding to calls for immediate service after the Employee’s workday or on weekends or holidays.
