Special breaks. The special breaks amount to 30 minutes per working day; however, 34 minutes for areas requiring high hygiene standards where the employees must change into over- alls/work wear, footwear, headgear etc. and 45 minutes for pig slaughtering and the gut dressing line. The special breaks for pig cutting and the cattle slaughtering line are agreed locally, at either 30 or 45 minute. The breaks must not be scheduled together with ordinary meal breaks or be used to shorten the working day. The breaks may under no circumstances be banked or com- bined. The break times include time spent walking to and from breaks. The enterprise is entitled to demand that employees shall clock in and out at the start and end of breaks. The employees must not leave the enterprise during breaks.

Special breaks. For businesses having entered the Framework Agreement in respect of method develop- ment and piecework rates, special breaks shall be taken pro rata in pursuance of the num- ber of hours set out in the part-time contract.

  • Meal Breaks (a) An employee who works in excess of five hours will be entitled to an unpaid meal break of not less than 30 minutes and not more than 60 minutes.

  • Meal Break a) Employees who work for more than five continuous hours are entitled to an unpaid meal break of 30 minutes each day.

  • Missed Meal Breaks (a) (applicable to full-time employees only) If an employee is authorized to work, during the lunch break, due to the requirements of patient care, he will be paid time and one-half (1½) his regular straight time hourly rate for all time worked in excess of his normal daily hours.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Lunch Break Each Teacher shall receive each day an uninterrupted and continuous period of not less than forty (40) minutes for lunch, free from supervisory, teaching or other assigned duties (reference: Regulation 298.s. 3, Daily Sessions).

  • Termination for a Material Breach Either party may terminate this Agreement for a material breach by the other party. The breaching party will have thirty (30) days from the date of written notice to cure any material breach.

  • Unpaid Meal Breaks All employees working shifts of five (5) to eight (8) hours are entitled to an unpaid meal break between the third (3rd) and fifth (5th) hour of work. Such meal breaks shall not be less than one-half hour (1/2) nor more than one (1) hour on the employees own time.

  • Material Breach A material breach for purposes of this Agreement shall include, but not be limited to:

  • Independence from Material Breach Determination Except as set forth in Section X.D.1.c, these provisions for payment of Stipulated Penalties shall not affect or otherwise set a standard for OIG’s decision that CHSI has materially breached this CIA, which decision shall be made at OIG’s discretion and shall be governed by the provisions in Section X.D, below.

  • Compensation in relation to breach In relation to any breach of this contract, the party in breach shall indemnify the Innocent Party against all Relevant Losses.
