Smart Moves. A nationally acclaimed prevention program for young people 5-12. Smart Moves is a creative, fun, learning experience that provides boys and girls with the knowledge and skills they need to grow into confident, healthy teenagers. This program enables members to realize their full potential. Smart Moves also provides boys and girls with accurate information, resistance training, and other critical skills for avoiding alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, as well as peer pressure. This program encourages children to make appropriate decisions as they enter their teenage years.

Smart Moves. Smart Moves focuses on helping youth develop healthy decision-making attitudes and skills, with age-appropriate activities and lessons for youth in grades K - 12. The program teaches essential social-emotional skills that enable youth to communicate effectively, make healthy decisions, and refuse to engage in unhealthy behaviors. Smart Girls SMART Girls is a small-group health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement program designed to meet the developmental needs of girls in three age groups. Through dynamic sessions, highly participatory activities, field trips and mentoring opportunities with adult women, Club girls explore their own and societal attitudes and values as they build skills for eating right, staying physically fit, getting good health care and developing positive relationships with peers and adults. Passport to Manhood Passport to Manhood promotes and teaches responsibility in Club boys ages 8-17. Passport to Manhood consists of 14 sessions, each of which concentrates on a specific aspect of manhood through highly interactive activities. Passport to Manhood represents a targeted effort to engage young men in discussions activities that reinforce positive behavior. DIY STEM DIY STEM is a hands-on, activity-based STEM curriculum which connects youth aged 9- 12 to science themes they encounter regularly. Special attention is paid to connections of theory and application and the common interactions members have with these scientific principles. DIY STEM currently includes five modules: Energy and Electricity, Engineering Design, Food Chemistry, Science of Sports: Football. In addition to the above-listed Boys & Girls Club of America programs, we partner with local organizations providing our members with additional programming core to support the needs and interests of our community. Some of our current partners with whom we work are: • Girls Scouts offers their traditional Girl Scouts programming at both BGCGNH’s clubhouses and school sites. • First Tee teaches beginner golf activities, with a focus on character and empowerment during the summer. • Mindful Exchanges at Yale providing mental wellness and self-care basics during the summer. • Rock the Beat XX Xxxx utilizing the art of disc jockeying and hip-hop music to develop confidence and positive self-perception among youth during the summer. • LiveGirls offers women empowerment program at New Haven Clubhouse.
Smart Moves. 10 4.16.1 B&fiCS shall provide Skills, Mastery, and Resistance 11 Training (SMART) Moves services for to children ages six to twelve (6-12) 12 years who are at risk of abuse or neglect including those who are low-income 13 (hereinafter referred to as "PARTICIPANTS" for purposes of Subparagraph 4.16).

  • Customer Feedback The contractor is expected to establish and maintain professional communication between its employees and customers. The primary objective of this communication is customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is the most significant external indicator of the success and effectiveness of all services provided and can be measured through customer complaints and surveys. Performance management drives the contractor to be customer focused through initially and internally addressing customer complaints and investigating the issues and/or problems but the customer always has the option to communicate complaints to the PM, as opposed to the contractor. Customer feedback may also be obtained either from the results of formal customer satisfaction surveys or from random customer complaints. Any customer complaints will be investigated by the PM using the Quality Assurance Monitoring Form – Customer Complaint Investigation, identified in Attachment A4.

  • Workstation Encryption Supplier will require hard disk encryption of at least 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) on all workstations and/or laptops used by Personnel where such Personnel are accessing or processing Accenture Data.

  • Network Services Local Access Services In lieu of any other rates and discounts, Customer will pay fixed monthly recurring local loop charges ranging from $1,200 to $2,000 for TDM-based DS-3 Network Services Local Access Services at 2 CLLI codes mutually agreed upon by Customer and Company.

  • Network Access TENANT may find it necessary to purchase a network interface card, wireless PC card or other hardware in order to connect to the internet service. LANDLORD is not responsible for the purchase of these items and LANDLORD cannot guarantee compatibility with any device TENANT may have. The computer and network card must have software installed that supports the Internet Protocol commonly referred to as TCP/IP. Any conflicts between the software compatibility of the network and the TENANT’S computer operating system or any other feature will be the responsibility of the TENANT to resolve. LANDLORD will not be responsible for software issues related to the user’s personal computer.

  • Data Input Control It will be possible to retrospectively examine and establish whether and by whom Personal Data have been entered, modified or removed from SAP data processing systems. Measures: • SAP only allows authorized personnel to access Personal Data as required in the course of their duty. • SAP has implemented a logging system for input, modification and deletion, or blocking of Personal Data by SAP or its subprocessors within the Cloud Service to the extent technically possible.

  • Data Encryption Contractor must encrypt all State data at rest and in transit, in compliance with FIPS Publication 140-2 or applicable law, regulation or rule, whichever is a higher standard. All encryption keys must be unique to State data. Contractor will secure and protect all encryption keys to State data. Encryption keys to State data will only be accessed by Contractor as necessary for performance of this Contract.

  • Workstation/Laptop encryption All workstations and laptops that process and/or store DHCS PHI or PI must be encrypted using a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128bit or higher, such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The encryption solution must be full disk unless approved by the DHCS Information Security Office.

  • Interface A defined set of transmission facilities that separate Load Zones and that separate the NYCA from adjacent Control Areas. Investor-Owned Transmission Owners. A Transmission Owner that is owned by private investors. At the present time these include: Central Xxxxxx Gas & Electric Corporation, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., New York State Electric & Gas Corporation, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc., and Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation.

  • Customer Access The Customer is responsible for the access to the Cloud Services and is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of its access methods such as usernames and passwords and agrees to notify the Supplier via the Cloud Services support channel if a password is compromised. The Customer is responsible for all activities that occur under its Account.

  • Web Hosting If Customer submits a Service Order(s) for web hosting services, the following terms shall also apply:
