Situations Requiring Association President. In addition, when situations occur which need immediate attention and require the presence of the Association president, he/she shall be released to assist in the resolution of the problem. When the Association president is needed for such situations outside his or her regular work hours, the release time will be provided in the form of paid time off for the Association president's use at a future date. The Assistant Superintendent Human Resources will maintain a record of how much paid time off has accrued. Such paid time off shall be taken in accordance with the District's procedures for taking vacation, including providing advance notice so the District can secure a substitute, if needed.
