Common use of Sick Leave Reimbursement Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Reimbursement. Where an employee is paid wages by the Employer while absent from employment by reason of any disability and the employee subsequently recovers such wages or any part thereof from any source, then the employee shall pay the amount so recovered, less those legal fees attributable to processing the wage loss claim, to the Employer. Upon receiving such amount the Employer shall credit the employee’s sick leave account with the number of sick leave days proportionate to the amount so recovered.
