Service to Other Agencies. 14.4.1. Upon application to the Superintendent or designate, a leave of absence for Alberta Education business may be granted without loss of salary provided that an amount equal to the salary of a substitute teacher shall be paid to the School Division for each day of such leave. Leave shall not exceed three (3) days per school year unless authorized by the Superintendent or designate.
Service to Other Agencies. 14.10 Upon application to and at the discretion of the Superintendent or designate, leaves of absence may be granted for the following purpose.
Service to Other Agencies. 14.8.1 Temporary leave of absence with pay less the cost of a substitute, shall be granted to teachers while representing a service club in an executive capacity at service club conventions - up to three (3) days per year.
Service to Other Agencies. Teachers will have access to leave for service to other agencies through Administrative Procedure 408 which outlines a process for leaves of absence for teachers who provide services to emergency management organizations.
