Location of the Arbitration Hearing Unless applicable law provides otherwise, the arbitration hearing for United States residents will be conducted in the federal judicial district in which you reside (in your hometown area) or, for Canadian residents, in the province in which you reside, and, if you choose, will be in-person.
Arbitration Hearing An Arbitration Hearing will be held within thirty (30) days after the Administrative Conference if no discovery is taken, or within thirty (30) days after the close of discovery, unless all parties and the Panel agree to extend the Arbitration Hearing date, or unless the parties agree in writing to waive the Arbitration Hearing. The parties may mutually agree on the location of the Arbitration Hearing. If the parties fail to agree, the Arbitration Hearing shall be held in Chicago, Illinois, or at such other location determined by the Presiding Arbitrator to be most convenient to the participants. The Panel will determine the date(s) and time(s) of the Arbitration Hearing(s) after consultation with all parties and shall provide reasonable notice thereof to all parties or their representatives.
Arbitration Hearings a. Thirty (30) days prior to the start of each calendar quarter the Director of the USW Arbitration Department (or his designee) shall provide the parties with a calendar listing hearing dates for that quarter and be responsible for scheduling the hearings.
Procedures of the Joint Committee 1. For the proper implementation of this Agreement, the Joint Committee shall meet at an appropriate level whenever necessary upon request but at least once a year. Either Party may request a meeting be held.
Benefits Advisory Committee The Board agrees to establish a Benefits Advisory Committee to provide stakeholder input into maintaining quality and affordable benefits. The focus of this committee shall be to:
Central Dispute Resolution Committee a) There shall be established a Central Dispute Resolution Committee (CDRC), which shall be composed of two (2) representatives from each of the central parties, and two (2) representatives of the Crown.
Arbitration Board Hearings Where operational requirements permit, the Employer shall grant leave without loss of pay to a reasonable number of employees representing the Union before an Arbitration Board, provided the dispute involves the Employer.
Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.
EMPLOYEE-MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 33.01 (a) An Employee-Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) shall be established within three (3) months of the signing of the Collective Agreement. The Union Representative shall provide the names of up to three (3) elected Employees and the Employer shall provide the names of up to three (3) appointed representatives to sit on the EMAC.
