Staggered Terms. The terms of the Trustees shall be staggered such that the terms of no more than one-third of Trustees end in the same year. In order to accomplish this, in the first group of Trustees appointed, four shall be appointed to a term of two years, six shall be appointed to a term of three years, and four shall be appointed to a term of four years.
Staggered Terms. (i) In 2020, one Law Enforcement Director and one Fire Protection Director shall be appointed.

The School’s unincorporated organizational founding board (“Founding Board”) shall appoint the Board of Directors which initially shall consist of nine (9) members, some of whom may be Founding Board members. Staggered Terms. The terms of the representatives to the Executive Board shall be staggered so that the terms of approximately one-half of the representatives expire each year. The terms of the representatives of the cities in the counties of Alameda, Marin, Napa, San Francisco (mayor and representative), and Santa Xxxxx, and the representatives of the counties of Contra Costa, San Mateo, Solano, and Sonoma shall expire in the even- numbered years; the terms of the representatives of the cities in the counties of Contra Costa, San Mateo, Solano, and Sonoma, and the representatives of the counties of Alameda, Marin, Napa, San Francisco (representatives of the Board of Supervisors), and Santa Xxxxx shall expire in the odd-numbered years.
Staggered Terms. There shall be staggered terms of office for Managers so that one-third (1/3) of the managerships shall be up for election each year (or if the number does not evenly divide by thirds, the board shall be divided as close to thirds as possible). The system for staggered terms of office shall be implemented as follows: At the meeting of the Board at which this Agreement is adopted there shall be a drawing in order to determine the initial terms of the Managers. After the drawing, 1 Manager shall have an initial term of 1 year, 2 Managers shall have a term of 2 years, and 1 Manager shall have a term of 3 years. The minutes of this board meeting shall show the 12 Local counsel to confirm that this complies with Local law.
Staggered Terms. The IESG, the Nominating Committee, and the Board are expected to coordinate with each other to ensure that collectively their appointment processes provide for no more than three Directors’ terms concluding in the same year.
Staggered Terms. The election of the Board of Directors shall be in compliance with Minnesota Statutes Section 124E.07. Except for ex officio non-voting Directors, the Board of Directors shall be divided into three (3) classes of Directors so that the terms of office of approximately one-third (1/3) of the Directors shall expire each year. The Board Secretary shall maintain a schedule of the classes and terms of office for all seats on the Board of Directors.
