Common use of Right to Discipline Clause in Contracts

Right to Discipline. It is understood that none of the provisions of this Article shall in any way limit the Company's right to discipline employees for excessive absenteeism or misrepresentation of injuries, ailments, or physical condition. While off for Sickness, employees are prohibited from working for another employer. Notwithstanding the above, employees absent due to Sickness will not be disciplined for excessive absenteeism for using the first two Annual Sick Days in any given year.
