Relief Employees. (a) A relief employee means an employee who relieves another employee for a period of less than four (4) consecutive weeks for the purpose of carrying out the absent employee’s function. Where the engagement is for more than four (4) consecutive weeks, a relief employee should be regarded as a replacement employee.
