Common use of Re-employment List Clause in Contracts

Re-employment List. An employee who has elected to have his name placed on the re- employment list shall retain his seniority while on the list, and shall be entitled to apply for any position posted in accordance with Article 11. If an employee is not re-employed within 24 (twenty-four) months of being placed on the list, his name shall be removed from the list and he shall receive the severance pay he would have received had he selected option (c) in Article 13.4.
