Common use of RATING OFFICERS Clause in Contracts

RATING OFFICERS. Each employee is to be rated by the immediate supervisor, who is 11 defined as the person who assigns, checks, and supervises the work of the employee and who 12 is immediately responsible for the employee, or is most closely acquainted with the 13 employee's performance. If the employee has more than one (1) immediate supervisor, each 14 such supervisor may rate the employees work performance. 15 16 The rating of each employee shall be reviewed by the next higher level supervisor, usually 17 the immediate supervisor of the rater. Rating officers shall not be members of the bargaining 18 unit.
