Level I. If the grievance is not resolved through informal discussions, the School District designee shall give a written decision on the grievance to the parties involved within ten (10) days after receipt of the written grievance.

Level I. 19.4.1.1 Within twenty (20) days of the time an alleged grievance is said to have occurred, the grievant shall submit the grievance on the appropriate form (Appendix C attached) to the college president or designee. The employee shall have discussed the grievance informally with the College President or designee within the twenty (20) days. 19.4.1.2 The college president, or his/her designee, shall communicate the decision to the grievant, in writing, within fifteen (15) days of receiving the appeal grievance. Either the grievant, the college president, or his/her designee, may request a personal conference within the above time limits. Any meeting shall be by mutual agreement.
Level I. If the grievance is not resolved through informal discussions, the school board designee shall give a written decision on the grievance to the parties involved within ten days after a receipt of the written grievance. Subd. 2. Level II: In the event the grievance is not resolved in Level I, the decision rendered may be appealed to the superintendent of schools, provided such appeal is made in writing within five days after receipt of the decision in Level I. If a grievance is properly appealed to the superintendent, the superintendent or his designee shall set a time and meet regarding the grievance within fifteen days after receipt of the appeal. Within ten days after the meeting, the superintendent or his designee shall issue a decision in writing to the parties involved. Subd. 3. Level III: In the event the grievance is not resolved in Level II, the decision rendered may be appealed to the school board, provided such appeal is made in writing within five days after receipt of the decision in Level II: If a grievance is properly appealed to the school board, the school board shall set a time to hear the grievance within twenty days after receipt of the appeal. Within twenty days after the meeting, the school board shall issue its decision in writing to the parties involved. At the option of the school board, a committee or representative(s) of the board may be designated by the board to hear the appeal at this level, and report its findings and recommendations to the school board. The school board shall then render its decision.
Level I. 5.2.1.1 Within twenty (20) days after the occurrence of the act or omission giving rise to the grievance, or within twenty (20) days of when the grievant or UFO could reasonably have known of the act or omission, the grievant must present such grievance in writing to the immediate supervisor (see Appendix E).

The Executive Director may call a meeting within ten (10) days after receiving the written grievance. Following this meeting the Executive Director shall have five (5) days to provide a written decision on the grievance to the parties involved.
Level I a. If the informal discussion fails to resolve the grievance to the satisfaction of the grievant, a formal grievance may be initiated in writing no later than ten (10) days after the informal discussion. The formal grievance shall be filed with the management level supervisor.
Level I. 12.2.1.1 Within fifteen (15) working days of the time an employee knew or should have known of the occurrence of an alleged grievance, the Unit Member shall discuss with the immediate supervisor the alleged grievance.
Level I. 17.3.1.1 Within 30 days after the occurrence of the acts or events giving rise to the grievance, the grievant must present his or her grievance in writing on the form prescribed by the District to the grievant’s immediate supervisor. However, the grievant is encouraged to discuss the issues informally with the appropriate District official before actually filing the grievance. The District will extend the time limit for filing the grievance if there is a reasonable probability the grievance will be resolved informally.
