PROTECTION OF WORKERS, PROPERTY, AND THE PUBLIC. F.2.1 Contractor shall maintain continuous and adequate protection of all of the Work from damage, and shall protect the Owner's Authorized Representative, workers and property from injury or loss arising in connection with this Contract. Contractor shall remedy acceptably to the Owner, any damage, injury, or loss, except such as may be directly due to errors in the Contract Documents or caused by authorized representatives or personnel of the Owner. Contractor shall adequately protect adjacent property as provided by law and the Contract Documents.

CM/GC shall adequately protect adjacent property as provided by law and the Contract Documents. If any person suffers physical injury or property damage arising from the Work, regardless of the cause, the party shall immediately give notice of such injury or damage, whether or not insured, to City and CM/GC with sufficient detail to enable City and any other party affected to investigate the matter.

Neither Contractor nor its employees are Department employees. This insurance/exemption must be valid for the entire contract term and any renewal.
