The Protection Features clause outlines specific safeguards or mechanisms designed to protect one or both parties' interests within an agreement. Protection Features. The software may enable third-party intellectual property protection features (“IP Protection Features”) that restrict your access to third-party solutions you use, but that are not included with the software. Your use of such third-party solutions is governed by the license terms that accompany those solutions. You agree that Microsoft is not responsible for any failures or problems associated with such IP Protection Features. Microsoft does not, and will not, have any obligation to provide technical or other support for such IP Protection Features. Microsoft does not make any representation or warranty with regards to the functionality associated with those IP Protection Features. ***************************************************************************** *********
A. LIMITED WARRANTY. If you follow the instructions, the software will perform substantially as described in the Microsoft materials that you receive in or with the software.
Protection Features. The PCU shall include appropriate self-protective and self-diagnostic feature to protect itself and the PV array from damage in the event of PCU component failure or from parameters beyond the PCU’s safe operating range due to internal or external causes. The self-protective features shall not allow signals from the PCU front panel to cause the PCU to be operated in a manner which may be unsafe or damaging. Faults due to malfunctioning within the PCU, including commutation failure, shall be cleared by the PCU protective devices. The PCU shall provide protection against the following type of faults, among others.
(i) DC/AC over current
(ii) DC/AC over voltage
(iii) DC reverse polarity
(iv) DC earth fault (v) AC under voltage 50 MW (AC) Solar PV Power Plants at Tamil Nadu Tender No. SECI/C&P/TD/2020/TN/50 TS Page 19 of 123 Signature of Bidder (vi) AC under frequency/over frequency (vii) Islanding
Protection Features. The Licensed Software may come with Security Keys, License Keys, software protection features and procedures that, in the event of unauthorized use, may limit access to the Licensed Software. The protection features including but not limited to the Security Keys are manufactured by a third party and used to control access to the Licensed Software. At Licensee’s request, PredictionProbe can make available manufacturer information about the Security Key and/or the License Keys. Licensee will not modify or reproduce any protection features including but not limited to License Key and/or the Security Key provided with the Licensed Software in any way. If software protection procedures have been enabled when there is no unauthorized use by Licensee, PredictionProbe will, on a highest priority basis, assist Licensee in returning normal operations at no charge to Licensee. All protection features, including but not limited to, the Security Keys are the property of PredictionProbe and must be returned to PredictionProbe at the expiration of the applicable term of the License. Licensee is responsible for loss of or damage to Security Keys. Within ten days after the termination of this Agreement for any reason, or within ten days subsequent to the written request of PredictionProbe, Licensee will return the Security Keys and/or other protection features. In the event all the Security Keys and/or other protection features are not returned within ten days, Licensee is deemed to have renewed the License as a Perpetual License and all fees and charges for a Perpetual License will immediately be due and payable. Licensee’s obligations to pay such fees and charges are in addition to its obligation to cover any damages that PredictionProbe may incur as a result of the failure to return.
Protection Features. Contractor warrants that the Licensed Software, with the exception of product identified as third-party product on the Order Schedule, contains no protection features, contaminants, computer viruses, time locks, time bombs, back doors, trojan horses, or other software routines, codes, or instructions including any clock, timer, counter, or other limiting or disabling code that would cause any component of the Licensed Software or data generated there from to be modified, deleted, damaged, or otherwise rendered incapable of performing or otherwise limit or restrict the State from using the Licensed Software, or any part thereof. This restriction includes software routines designed to disable a computer program automatically or under the positive control of a person other than a State-authorized user.
