PROMOTIONS AND SPONSORSHIP. 9.1 The NZOC acknowledges that you may currently have (and/or may secure in the future) personal sponsors and that these relationships are important to you and need to be respected. However, during the Term of this Agreement, the NZOC and CGF also require certain commitments from every athlete selected for the Team in order to safeguard their commercial interests. To this end, you agree that during the Term of this Agreement:

PROMOTIONS AND SPONSORSHIP. 8.1 As a member of the Games Team, during and after the Term, you agree to protect the Intellectual Property of PNZ, the IPC, Rio OCOG and the Games and related sponsors and will not assist, support, promote or encourage any persons or entities (including your Personal Sponsors or Connected Parties) to create an association with yourself (in your capacity as a member of the Games Team) in a way that implies that they are an official sponsor of the Games Team, PNZ, the IPC, Rio OCOG or the Games, and to not yourself do or omit to do anything which may imply such an association;
PROMOTIONS AND SPONSORSHIP. The MERCHANTS shall identify the CITY as a sponsor in all MERCHANTS' publications funded under this Agreement for all events or promotions that the MERCHANTS manage, host, coordinate, and/or promote in the Downtown. Events may be added, modified or eliminated as determined by the MERCHANTS to reflect changing community needs and/or budget considerations. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the MERCHANTS shall obtain all necessary special permits from Dade City to manage or host an event when required by law or local ordinance. The MERCHANTS shall promote the Downtown as a "destination" for visitation through promoting the shopping, entertainment, and cultural events by development of targeted promotional campaigns to specific demographic and other identifiable groups, dependent upon the activity. Attraction of people to the Downtown provides a positive economic impact and encourages private investment in the Downtown. The MERCHANTS shall promote an economically thriving Downtown and desirable "quality of life" in the Downtown by:

  • Promotion A promotion shall mean the transfer of an employee to a higher level position of more responsibility as well as salary.

The Borrower acknowledges and agrees that the Lenders shall be entitled to determine, in their sole discretion, whether to use such information; that no compensation will be payable by the Lenders or the Agent in connection therewith; and that the Lenders and the Agent shall have no liability whatsoever to it or any of its employees, officers, directors, affiliates or shareholders in obtaining and using such information as contemplated herein.

  • PROMOTIONS AND VACANCIES 3.1 The Employer will determine when a position will be filled, the type of appointment to be used when filling the position, and the skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the specific position within a job classification that is being filled. Only those candidates who have the position-specific skills and abilities required to perform the duties of the vacant position will be referred for further consideration by the employing agency.
