POWERS AND DUTIES OF CUSTODIAN AND DOMESTIC SUBCUSTODIAN. Except for Assets held by any Subcustodian appointed pursuant to Sections 5(b), (c), or (d) of this Agreement, the Custodian shall have and perform the powers and duties hereinafter set forth in this Section 4. For purposes of this Section 4 all references to powers and duties of the "Custodian" shall also refer to any Domestic Subcustodian appointed pursuant to Section 5(a).

The Custodian shall not be responsible for any property of the Fund held or received by the Fund and not delivered to the Custodian. The Bank shall supply to the Fund, addressed care of its agent, Fund/Plan, from time to time as mutually agreed upon a written statement with respect to all of the Assets in the Custody Account. In the event that the Fund, acting through its agent, Fund/Plan, does not inform the Bank in writing of any exceptions or objections within thirty (30) days after receipt of such statement, the Fund shall be deemed to have approved such statement.
