Foreign Exchange Transactions. (l) Each Fund may appoint the Custodian as its agent in the execution of all currency exchange transactions. If requested, the Custodian agrees to provide exchange rate and U.S. Dollar information, in writing, or by other means agreeable to both parties, to the Funds.

Foreign Exchange Transactions. The Custodian shall, subject to the terms of this Section, settle foreign exchange transactions (including contracts, futures, options and options on futures) on behalf and for the account of the Fund with such currency brokers or banking institutions, including Subcustodians, as the Fund may direct pursuant to Instructions. The Custodian may act as principal in any foreign exchange transaction with the Fund in accordance with Section 7.4.2 of this Agreement. The obligations of the Custodian in respect of all foreign exchange transactions (whether or not the Custodian shall act as principal in such transaction) shall be contingent on the free, unencumbered transferability of the currency transacted on the actual settlement date of the transaction.
Foreign Exchange Transactions. Pursuant to Instructions, which may be standing Instructions, to facilitate the administration of the Customer’s trading and investment activity, the Bank is authorized to enter into spot or forward foreign exchange contracts with the Customer or an Authorized Person for the Customer and may also provide foreign exchange through its subsidiaries or Subcustodians. The Bank may establish rules or limitations concerning any foreign exchange facility made available. In all cases where the Bank, its subsidiaries, affiliates or Subcustodians enter into a foreign exchange contract related to Accounts, the terms and conditions of the then current foreign exchange contract of the Bank, its subsidiary, affiliate or Subcustodian and, to the extent not inconsistent, this Agreement shall apply to such transaction.

In all cases where Bank, its Affiliates or Subcustodians enter into a master foreign exchange contract that covers foreign exchange transactions for the Accounts, the terms and conditions of that foreign exchange contract and, to the extent not inconsistent, this Agreement, shall apply to such transactions.
Foreign Exchange Transactions. (a) For the purpose of settling Securities and foreign exchange transactions, the Fund shall provide the Custodian with sufficient immediately available funds for all transactions by such time and date as conditions in the relevant market dictate. As used herein, “sufficient immediately available funds” shall mean either (i) sufficient cash denominated in U.S. dollars to purchase the necessary foreign currency, or (ii) sufficient applicable foreign currency, to settle the transaction. The Custodian shall provide the Fund with immediately available funds each day which result from the actual settlement of all sale transactions, based upon advices received by the Custodian from Foreign Custodians, Depositories, and Foreign Depositories. Such funds shall be in U.S. dollars or such other currency as the Fund may specify to the Custodian.
Foreign Exchange Transactions. Add the following paragraph at the end of Subsection 14(a): Instructions to execute foreign exchange transactions with the Bank, its subsidiaries, affiliates or Subcustodians will include (1) the time period in which the transaction must be completed; (2) the location i.e., Chase New York, Chase London, etc. or the Subcustodian with whom the contract is to be executed and (3) such additional information and guidelines as may be deemed necessary; and, if the Instruction is a standing Instruction, a provision allowing such Instruction to be overridden by specific contrary Instructions. Foreign Exchange Transactions. (a) For payments in connection with foreign exchange contracts or options to purchase and sell foreign currencies for spot and future delivery (collectively, "Foreign Exchange Agreements") which may be entered into by the Bank on behalf of the Fund upon the receipt of Proper Instructions, such Proper Instructions to specify the currency broker or banking institution (which may be the Bank, or any other subcustodian or agent hereunder, acting as principal) with which the contract or option is made, and the Bank shall have no duty with respect to the selection of such currency brokers or banking institutions with which the Fund deals or for their failure to comply with the terms of any contract or option.

The obligations of the Custodian in respect of all foreign exchange transactions shall be contingent on the free, unencumbered transferability of the currency transacted on the actual settlement date of the transaction.
Foreign Exchange Transactions. The Custodian shall, pursuant to proper instructions, enter into or cause a subcustodian to enter into foreign exchange contracts or options to purchase and sell foreign currencies for spot and future delivery on behalf and for the account of the Trust. Such transactions may be undertaken by the Custodian or subcustodian with such banking or financial institutions or other currency brokers, as set forth in proper instructions. Foreign exchange contracts and options shall be deemed to be portfolio securities of the Trust; and accordingly, the responsibility of the Custodian therefor shall be the same as and no greater than the Custodian's responsibility in respect of other portfolio securities of the Trust. The Custodian shall be responsible for the transmittal to and receipt of cash from the currency broker or banking or financial institution with which the contract or option is made, the maintenance of proper records with respect to the transaction and the maintenance of any segregated account required in connection with the transaction. The Custodian shall have no duty with respect to the selection of the currency brokers or banking or financial institutions with which the Trust deals or for their failure to comply with the terms of any contract or option. Without limiting the foregoing, it is agreed that upon receipt of proper instructions and insofar as funds are made available to the Custodian for the purpose, the Custodian may (if determined necessary by the Custodian to consummate a particular transaction on behalf and for the account of the Trust) make free outgoing payments of cash in the form of U.S. dollars or foreign currency before receiving confirmation of a foreign exchange contract or confirmation that the countervalue currency completing the foreign exchange contract has been delivered or received. The Custodian shall not be responsible for any costs and interest charges which may be incurred by the Trust or the Custodian as a result of the failure or delay of third parties to deliver foreign exchange; provided that the Custodian shall nevertheless be held to the standard of care set forth in, and shall be liable to the Trust in accordance with, the provisions of Section 8.
Foreign Exchange Transactions. In connection with this Agreement, Customer may enter into foreign exchange transactions (including foreign exchange hedging transactions) with BNY Mellon or a BNY Mellon Affiliate acting as a principal or otherwise through customary channels. Customer may issue standing Instructions with respect to any such foreign exchange transactions, subject to any rules or limitations that may apply to any foreign exchange facility made available to Customer. With respect to any such foreign exchange transactions, BNY Mellon or such BNY Mellon Affiliate is acting as a principal counterparty on its own behalf and is not acting as a fiduciary or agent for, or on behalf of, Customer, a Series, an investment manager or any Account.
