Patient Experience Surveys. NHS England London requires the Provider to request every patient vaccinated to complete and return an agreed Patient Experience Survey. There are different patient experience surveys for flu and for PPV for the London service to enable them to be kept as simple as possible. NHSE London has arranged for Sonar to manage the Patient satisfaction surveys for the London Vaccination Service 2016-­‐17 and make available a facility for patients to complete online post vaccination if they choose to. For this the system will automatically send a link to the patient (by email and/or SMS) post vaccination, to do the survey on-­‐line. To enable this it will be mandatory to take the patient’s mobile number or their email address on the record form. This facility is being developed and more information re how it works will be made available in due course. All completed surveys on paper need to be uploaded on to Sonar daily. Note that the patient experience surveys for national service patients has a different facility for completing electronically via another IT platform.
