Partnership Leave. There shall be 72 hours per year of paid Partnership leave. The Local shall reimburse the District for the cost of the Partner. The partner will work with her/his supervisor to schedule this leave to make the least impact on the Department.

  • Partner Leave 6.13.1 An Employee who is not taking Maternity Leave, Adoption Leave or Other Parent Leave is entitled to one week's partner leave as prescribed by this clause in respect of the:

  • Hardship Leave The Agency will allow employees to make irrevocable donations of accumulated vacation leave to a co-worker who has exhausted accumulated leave while recuperating from an extended illness or injury or attending an immediate family member suffering from illness or injury. Hardship leave donations will be administered under the following stipulations and the terms of this Agreement shall be strictly enforced with no exceptions.

  • Exchange Leave An employee holding a regular or continuous appointment may exchange her/his position and responsibilities with a qualified person from another institution for a fixed period of time with the agreement of the employee's Department and the employer. The employee will continue to receive regular salary and benefits for the duration of the exchange. The exchanging individual will be paid by her/his institutional employer. Where there are large inequities in cost of living between the location of the exchanging individual, the employer and the employee may discuss whether further assistance is required to facilitate the exchange.

  • Membership List The District will provide to the Federation no later than the third week of each semester a membership list of all employees in the unit. The list will include names, home addresses, work location, classification, phone numbers (if any), and whether the employee has elected to be a member of the Federation or agency fee payer.

  • Citizenship Leave Employees shall be allowed the necessary time off with pay to attend citizenship court to become a Canadian Citizen.

  • Parenting Leave Parenting Leave consists of Maternity Leave and Parental Leave. Parental Leave includes Paternity and Adoption Leave. An employee who qualifies for Maternity Leave may apply for such leave in accordance with Maternity Leave “Plan A” or Maternity Leave “Plan B” but not both.

  • Garden Leave 23.1 Following service of notice to terminate the employment by either party, or if the Employee purports to terminate the employment in breach of contract, the Company may by written notice place the Employee on Garden Leave for the whole or part of the remainder of the employment.

  • Recreation Leave (a) An employee (except for a casual employee) is entitled to:

  • Xxxxx’s leave (1) An employee is entitled to use up to 10 days accrued personal leave each year to care for a member of his or her immediate family or a member of his or her household who is ill and requires his or her care. The employee is not entitled to take xxxxx’s leave for a particular period if another person has taken leave to care for the person for the same period.

  • Personal Medical Leave 1. Accrued 100% sick leave may be used at the employee's discretion. Such leave may be taken before or after the vacation described in No. 3 below.
