Overtime Philosophy. Healthcare professionals are expected to use their clinical judgment in providing safe care of their patients. The exercise of this judgment includes making a decision as to whether the professional would pose a direct threat to patients by working mandatory overtime.

  • Philosophy It is the Company’s intent to use regular staff to perform most of its work of a continuing nature. Furthermore, the Company will strive to provide regular staff with stability of employment.   • Overtime Pay a) A casual employee shall be entitled to overtime pay in accordance with Article 27.05 in the following circumstances:

  • Overtime Scheduling (A) It is the intent of the City, consistent with efficient and effective operation of the Division of Police, to distribute in an equitable manner, all pre-scheduled overtime among all members.
