Other Unpaid Leaves. The District may allow bargaining unit members to attend job related seminars, conferences, and classes if said bargaining unit members reimburse the District for the cost of employing a substitute needed to replace them. This leave is completely at the discretion of the District and is not subject to grievance. This leave will not be granted for vacation or where other leaves apply.
