Study Leave. Credits for study leave will be given for educational commitments falling due between an employee's nominated starting and finishing times.
Study Leave. Where study leave has been approved by the employer, credits will be given for education commitments falling within the ordinary hours of duty and for which "time off" is necessary to allow for attendance at formal classes.
Study Leave. 4.8.1 Any teacher who applies for and is awarded one of the 75 full-time equivalent Study Awards, available nationally each year to all primary teachers and principals, shall be granted leave on pay for the period of the study. Study Leave. After one (1) year of continuous employment, permission may be granted for leave of absence without pay for job related study, without loss of accrued benefits, providing such leave does not jeopardize hospital services.

Study Leave if granted by the employer, shall be for a maximum of two subjects per annum.

If the employee does not wish a one year leave s/he may use up to a total of fifteen (15) days in any single year for study leave provided that such leave will not be granted more than three (3) times in a single year even if all fifteen (15) days have not been used.
