OPTIONAL MEMBERSHIP. A. OPTIONAL MEMBERSHIP All employees, as a condition of employment, MAY within thirty (30) days of the first day of work (1) pay dues to the Association; or (2) pay to the Association a representation fee. To the extent permitted by law, upon the voluntary authorization in writing by a bargaining unit employee, the Board shall, pursuant to MCLA 408.477; MSA 17.277(7), deduct the representation fees and dues and remit them to the local Association. The payroll deduction of dues or representation fees shall be in ten (10) equal installments beginning in October unless the Association sets forth a different schedule. If 2012 PA 53 becomes valid and enforceable, the foregoing provisions shall be null and void. After consultation with the Board, the Association has the right to compromise or settle any claim made against the Board under this section.
OPTIONAL MEMBERSHIP. All employees included in the collective bargaining unit set forth herein, within thirty-one (31) days after the start of employment with the Employer may elect to become members of the Union and pay to the Union the dues and initiation fees uniformly required of all Union members, or refrain from joining.

  • Additional Members One or more additional members may be admitted to the Company with the consent of the Member. Prior to the admission of any such additional members to the Company, the Member shall amend this Agreement to make such changes as the Member shall determine to reflect the fact that the Company shall have such additional members. Each additional member shall execute and deliver a supplement or counterpart to this Agreement, as necessary.

  • Professional Memberships Each employee is eligible for reimbursement for membership fees or dues paid for the maintenance of a license required to perform employee’s job and for dues paid for membership in one additional job related professional association.

  • Initial Members The initial Members of the LLC, their initial capital contributions, and their percentage interest in the LLC are as follows: Members Percentage Interest in LLC Capital Contribution (If any)

  • Annual Membership Fee You agree to pay in advance a nonrefundable annual membership fee shown on page 1, whether or not you use your Card or Credit Card account. The fee will be charged on a periodic statement shortly after you open your Credit Card account and after that in the same month every year. We reserve the right to waive all or a portion of the annual fee.

  • Admission of Additional Members One or more additional members of the Company may be admitted to the Company with the written consent of the Member.

  • Transfer of Membership Interest The Sole Member may Transfer any part or all of its rights and interest (including, but not limited to, its Capital Account) in the Company (each a “Membership Interest”) now owned or hereafter acquired to any Person, and the transferee of such Membership Interest shall become a Member of the Company.

  • Application for Membership No employee shall be subject to any penalties against his application for membership or reinstatement, except as may be provided for in the Constitution and By-Laws of the National Union and the Union. A copy of such Constitution and By-Laws, and any changes thereto, shall be transmitted to the Company.

  • New Members No person may be admitted as a member of the Company without the approval of the Member.
