Notice Requirements and Commencement of Leave. (i) An employee shall provide written notice, including the expected birth date or adoption, at least four (4) weeks in advance, of the intended commencement and conclusion date of the maternity and/or parental leave. In the case of adoption of a child, the employee shall provide as much written notice as possible.

An employee shall provide written notice, including the expected birth date or adoption, at least four (4) weeks in advance, of the intended commencement and conclusion date of the maternity and/or parental leave.
