Middle Level Extra Duty. For Middle School Class Coverage: If it becomes necessary to temporarily assign students to other classes because a substitute teacher is not available and when no bargaining unit member has an open plan time or other open period, the teacher receiving the additional students at any grade level shall be paid a proportion of $30.00 per hour. The proportion shall be based on the percentage of students received from the absent teacher's class and the number of minutes the receiving teacher was responsible for thosestudents.
