MAINTENANCE MECHANIC HELPER Qualifications. 4th or 3rd Class Operating Engineers of Ontario Trade Certificate or equivalent; or, Ontario Trade Certificate of Qualification as a Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent. Scope Work shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following: − performance of shift tours including machinery log readings, − start up and/or shut down of building equipment and machinery, − water treatment duties for boilers, engines, chillers, etc., − assisting in the periodic testing of fire alarms and other life safety systems, − filter changing (all applicable types), − machinery belt inspection and replacement, − performance of minor repairs such as replacing washers, faucets, sinks, clearing toilets and drains, cleaning grease traps and sumps, re-packing valves, replacing pumps and motors and resetting breakers, − pump tear down and minor repairs including petroleum pumps, − alignment of pumps and couplings, − assisting in fan and air handling unit maintenance and alignment, − assisting in compressor maintenance including filters and dryers, − air balancing, − maintenance of metal and plastic pipe systems, − maintenance of pneumatic equipment, − maintenance of the Energy Management System, − all general mechanical maintenance duties, − electrical trouble shooting and minor repairs, − assisting in maintenance and minor repairs of wiring devices and conduit, − assisting in maintenance and minor repairs of motor control centres, switches, breakers and switchboard components, fixtures, branch circuit wiring, transformers, capacitors, transfer schemes, electrical and pneumatic control devices, − operation and maintenance of diesel fire pumps and fire alarm systems, − operation, maintenance and minor repairs of programmable logic controllers, − operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air conditioners, air handling units, cooling towers and power generation equipment. − Standby duty as required.

  • Driver Qualifications All drivers shall be trained and qualified in the operation of collection vehicles, and must have in effect a valid license, of the appropriate class, issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Contractor shall use the Class II California Department of Motor Vehicles employer “Pull Notice Program” to monitor its drivers for safety.

  • Promotions Requiring Higher Qualifications Consideration for promotion shall be given to the senior applicant who does not possess the required qualifications but is presently obtaining such qualifications prior to filling the vacancy. At the discretion of the Employer, such an employee may be given a trial period to qualify within a reasonable length of time and will revert to her former position if the required qualifications are not met within such time.

  • Personnel Qualifications Contractor shall assign properly qualified and experienced personnel to the program contemplated under this Agreement, and Contractor shall use reasonable efforts to retain such personnel on Customer’s program for the duration of such program.

  • General Qualifications General qualifications commonly required of all candidates for, appointees to, and employees in the classified service such as integrity, honesty, sobriety, dependability, industry, thoroughness, accuracy, good judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, courtesy, ability to work cooperatively with others, good health, and freedom from disabling defects, shall be deemed to be a part of the personal characteristics of the minimum qualifications of each class specification and need not be specifically set forth therein. The Commission may prescribe alternative or additional qualifications for individual classes and such qualifications also shall be deemed to be a part of the specifications for such classes.

  • Staff Qualifications a) CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all individuals employed, contracted, and/or otherwise hired by CONTRACTOR to provide classroom and/or individualized instruction or related services hold a license, certificate, permit, or other document equivalent to that which staff in a public school are required to hold in the service rendered consistent with Education Code section 56366.1(n)(1) and are qualified pursuant to Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations sections 3064 and 3065.

  • IRO Qualifications The IRO shall:

  • Professional Qualifications It shall be a condition of continued professional employment that employees must apply for enrolment in their appropriate professional licensing body by the thirtieth day of continuous service.

  • Insurer Qualifications Without limiting any obligations or liabilities of Consultant, Consultant shall purchase and maintain, at its own expense, hereinafter stipulated minimum insurance with insurance companies authorized to do business in the State of Arizona pursuant to ARIZ. REV. STAT. § 20-206, as amended, with an AM Best, Inc. rating of A- or above with policies and forms satisfactory to the City. Failure to maintain insurance as specified herein may result in termination of this Agreement at the City’s option.

  • Insurer Qualifications, Insurance Requirements Each of the insurance coverages required below (i) shall be issued by a company licensed by the Insurance Commissioner to transact the business of insurance in the State of Georgia for the applicable line of insurance, and (ii) shall be an insurer (or, for qualified self-insureds or group self insureds, a specific excess insurer providing statutory limits) with a Best Policyholders Rating of "A-" or better and with a financial size rating of Class V or larger. Each such policy shall contain the following provisions:

  • Vendor Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Based on the Contractor’s submission, OGS has determined that Contractor met the minimum qualifications for the lot(s) as identified in Appendix G, Contractor and OGS Information. If Contractor is awarded Lot 1 as a New York State Certified Minority- or Women- Owned Business Enterprise or as a New York State Small Business, Contractor agrees that it must retain at least one of such statuses to retain its Lot 1 award. Should a Contractor no longer retain at least one of such statuses, OGS shall suspend its Lot 1 award and the Contractor shall not be able to respond to Authorized User’s requests. If the Contractor fails to regain at least one of the statuses within 90 calendar days and provide OGS with documentation of such status, then its Lot 1 award shall be terminated. Any transaction awarded prior to Contractor’s loss of such statuses may continue until completion, unless otherwise terminated in accordance with this Contract. Lot 1– For projects up to $200,000 total Eligibility for this Lot is limited to the following:  Contractor is a New York State Certified Minority- or Women-Owned Business Enterprise; or  Contractor meets the definition of a New York State Small Business which is as follows: o A business which is resident in New York State, independently owned and operated, not dominant in its field and employs one hundred or less persons (see State Finance Law section 160(8)).
