Life Safety Systems definition

Life Safety Systems means components or combinations of equipment of Fire Alarm Systems, sprinkler systems, special suppression systems, means of egress, and other emergency equipment as regulated by the Fire Code, its regulations and this bylaw.
Life Safety Systems. Landlord shall provide Class "E" fire life safety floor subpanels with adequate connection points on the floors of the Leased Premises for code-required speaker and strobe lights as well as flow and tamper switches for the sprinkler systems, in accordance with existing code. The panels are to be installed in proximity to the Leased Premises. The code- required speakers, strobe lights, flow and tamper switches, and other equipment for the sprinkler systems shall be part of the Tenant Improvements.

Life Safety Systems mean and refer to any and all emergency lighting, emergency generators audio and visual signals, safety systems, sprinklers and smoke detection systems, which are now or hereafter installed in the Building, whether or not within the Units. All such Life Safety Systems, together with all conduits, wiring, electrical connections and systems related thereto, regardless of where located, shall be deemed Common Elements hereunder. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, when the context shall so allow, the Life Safety Systems shall also be deemed to include all means of emergency ingress and egress, which shall include all stairways and stair landings. Notwithstanding the breadth of the foregoing definition, nothing herein shall be deemed to suggest or imply that the Building or the Condominium contains all such Life Safety Systems.
