Low rate of R&D results applied in innovations Sample Clauses

Low rate of R&D results applied in innovations. The interaction between public research organisations and the application sphere (particularly companies but also e.g. the public sector), which is important for the application of R&D results in practice and a more efficient use of the knowledge potential of both parties for innovation, is very limited in the Czech Republic. This situation might deteriorate further if investment into research organisations and businesses continues to be incoherent. Although there is an infrastructure focused on supporting the transfer of knowledge and technology from public research into practice, the problem lies in the shortage of good quality and competent staff (managers and specialists) and in a relative shortage of funds to ensure good quality services of this infrastructure.
