Common use of Leave for Court Appearance Clause in Contracts

Leave for Court Appearance. ‌ With the exception of an employee’s own proceeding, an employee who is subpoenaed for jury duty or called as court witness and required to attend court, shall be granted leave and continue to receive full pay while so engaged providing she/he turns over any monies she/he receives as a result of such activity on the days she/he would normally be working.
