Leave for Court Appearance. In the event an employee is accused of an offence which requires a Court Appearance, the employee shall be given an automatic leave of absence without loss of seniority, but without pay. In the event that the accused employee is jailed awaiting a Court appearance, the employee shall be given an automatic leave of absence without loss of seniority, but without pay. In the event that the accused employee is found guilty and sentenced, the employee’s case shall be referred to the Labour-Management Committee and the employee may be granted leave of absence without seniority and pay for the duration of the employee’s sentence.
