Jurisdiction; Choice of Law. Any civil action rising from this contract shall be brought in the Superior Court for the Third Judicial District of the State of Alaska at Anchorage. The law of the State of Alaska shall govern the rights and obligations of the parties under this contract.
Jurisdiction; Choice of Law. This Agreement will be governed by and construed under the laws of the United States of America and, to the extent not inconsistent therewith, the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to conflicts-of-laws principles that would require the application of any other law. Any proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement must be brought in the courts of Xxxx County, Illinois and each of the parties irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of each such court in any such proceeding, waives any objection it may now or hereafter have to venue or to convenience of forum, agrees that all claims in respect of the proceeding will be heard and determined only in any such court and agrees not to bring any proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement in any other court. The parties agree that either or both of them may file a copy of this Section with any court as written evidence of the knowing, voluntary and bargained agreement between the parties irrevocably to waive any objections to venue or to convenience of forum. Process in any proceeding referred to in the first sentence of this Section may be served on any party anywhere in the world. In any action at law or in equity to enforce or interpret this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees, costs, and necessary disbursements incurred both before and after judgment in addition to any other relief to which such party may be entitled.
Jurisdiction; Choice of Law. For purposes of any action or proceeding arising out of this Agreement, the parties hereto hereby expressly submit to the jurisdiction of all federal and state courts located in the State of Arizona. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona.
Jurisdiction; Choice of Law. The validity, interpretation, construction and performance of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. In the event of any dispute or controversy arising under or in connection with this Agreement Executive and the Company hereby irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of the Common Pleas Court of the State of Ohio (Cuyahoga County) or the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Jurisdiction; Choice of Law. Any civil action rising from this Contract shall be brought in the District Court for the Thirteenth Judicial District of the State of Montana, Billings. The law of the State of Montana shall govern the rights and obligations of the parties under this Contract.
Jurisdiction; Choice of Law. Any civil action arising from this Agreement shall be brought in the District Court of the Fourth Judicial District; venue shall be in Ada County. The law of the State of Idaho shall govern the rights and duties of the parties under this Agreement.
Jurisdiction; Choice of Law. The Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the federal courts sitting in King County, Washington. If there is no federal subject matter jurisdiction, the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the Superior Court of King County, Washington.
Jurisdiction; Choice of Law. Any civil action arising from this Agreement shall be brought in the superior court for the third judicial district of the state of Alaska at Palmer. The law of the state of Alaska shall govern the rights and obligations of the parties.
Jurisdiction; Choice of Law. The employment relationship is regulated by Norwegian law, and the present Agreement shall be interpreted, governed, enforced and litigated in accordance with the laws of Norway. The parties agree that any disputes in connection with termination of employment that the parties cannot settle amicably, shall be settled by arbitration, cf. the Norwegian Working Environment Act Section 15-16 (1). The parties agree that upon arbitration, the parties shall enter into an agreement whereto the proceedings and the court of arbitration’s decision is subject to confidentiality, cf. the Arbitration Act Section 5. The appointment of arbitrators and the proceedings before the arbitration court shall be in accordance with the Arbitration Act.
Jurisdiction; Choice of Law. This Agreement shall be deemed accepted and delivered in and governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Texas and the United States of America. No conflicts of law rule or law which may refer to the laws of another state, republic or country shall be considered. The Parties consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts located in Xxxxxx County, Texas concerning any disputes or claims arising from or connected to this Agreement and agree that any action concerning any disputes or claims from or connected to this Agreement shall, to the extent not covered by arbitration as provided for in Section 13.12 hereof, be conducted solely within the courts situated therein. The parties hereby exclude the application of The Convention for the International Sale of Goods.
