Violent act means behavior that resulted in homicide,
Local Government Act means the Local Government Act 1993, and includes the City of Brisbane Act 1924.
Environmental Assessment Act means the Environmental Assessment Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.E.18.
Environmental, Health, and Safety Requirements means all federal, state, local and foreign statutes, regulations, ordinances and other provisions having the force or effect of law, all judicial and administrative orders and determinations, all contractual obligations and all common law concerning public health and safety, worker health and safety, and pollution or protection of the environment, including without limitation all those relating to the presence, use, production, generation, handling, transportation, treatment, storage, disposal, distribution, labeling, testing, processing, discharge, release, threatened release, control, or cleanup of any hazardous materials, substances or wastes, chemical substances or mixtures, pesticides, pollutants, contaminants, toxic chemicals, petroleum products or byproducts, asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls, noise or radiation, each as amended and as now or hereafter in effect.
Municipal Government Act means the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, c. M 26, as amended or repealed and replaced from time to time;
Environmental, Health and Safety Laws means the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, each as amended, together with all other laws (including rules, regulations, codes, plans, injunctions, judgments, orders, decrees, rulings, and charges thereunder) of federal, state, local, and foreign governments (and all agencies thereof) concerning pollution or protection of the environment, public health and safety, or employee health and safety, including laws relating to emissions, discharges, releases, or threatened releases of pollutants, contaminants, or chemical, industrial, hazardous, or toxic materials or wastes into ambient air, surface water, ground water, or lands or otherwise relating to the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, storage, disposal, transport, or handling of pollutants, contaminants, or chemical, industrial, hazardous, or toxic materials or wastes.
Environmental Regulations has the meaning set forth in Section 4.12(b).

Waste code means the six digit code referable to a type of waste in accordance with the List of Wastes (England)Regulations 2005, or List of Wastes (Wales) Regulations 2005, as appropriate, and in relation to hazardous waste, includes the asterisk.
Disaster Management Act means the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No.57 of 2002)
Environmental and Safety Laws means any federal, state or local laws, ordinances, codes, regulations, rules, policies and orders that are intended to assure the protection of the environment, or that classify, regulate, call for the remediation of, require reporting with respect to, or list or define air, water, groundwater, solid waste, hazardous or toxic substances, materials, wastes, pollutants or contaminants, or which are intended to assure the safety of employees, workers or other persons, including the public.
health and safety file means a file, or other record containing the information in writing required by these Regulations "health and safety plan" means a site, activity or project specific documented plan in accordance with the client's health and safety specification;
Occupational Safety and Health Law means any Legal Requirement designed to provide safe and healthful working conditions and to reduce occupational safety and health hazards, and any program, whether governmental or private (including those promulgated or sponsored by industry associations and insurance companies), designed to provide safe and healthful working conditions.
IT Act means Income Tax Act, 1961 and rules and regulations made there under and shall include any statutory modification, amendment or re-enactment thereof for the time being in force;
Environmental, Health and Safety Liabilities means any cost, damages, expense, liability, obligation, or other responsibility arising from or under Environmental Law or Occupational Safety and Health Law and consisting of or relating to:
Environmental Safeguards means the principles and requirements set forth in Chapter V, Appendix 1, and Appendix 4 (as applicable) of the SPS;
Dangerous drug means any of the following:
Occupational Health and Safety Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993);
Environmental pollution means the contaminating or rendering unclean or impure the air, land or waters of the state, or making the same injurious to public health, harmful for commer- cial or recreational use, or deleterious to fish, bird, animal or plant life.
Hazardous or a "pollutant" or that is or becomes similarly designated, classified or regulated, under any federal, state or local law, regulation or ordinance including, without limitation, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980, as amended, the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act, as amended, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, as amended, and the regulations adopted and publications promulgated pursuant thereto.
Waste prevention means source reduction and reuse, but not recycling.
Environment means indoor air, ambient air, surface water, groundwater, drinking water, land surface, subsurface strata, and natural resources such as wetlands, flora and fauna.
Data Protection Act means Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.
Hazardous air pollutant means any air pollutant listed as a hazardous air pollutant pursuant to Section 112(b) of the FCAA.
ICT Environment means the Authority System and the Contractor System. “Information” has the meaning given under section 84 of the FOIA.
Waste Material means (1) any “hazardous substance” under Section 101(14) of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. § 9601(14); (2) any pollutant or contaminant under Section 101(33) of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. § 9601(33); (3) any “solid waste” under Section 1004(27) of RCRA, 42 U.S.C. § 6903(27); and (4) any “hazardous substance” under Wis. Stat. § 292.01.
