July 1st, Canada Day falling on a Tuesday, a Wednesday or a Thursday, may be observed by the Company on the Monday or Friday of the week in which the Plant Holiday occurs. The Company shall give one week’s (7 days’) notice of the day on which the Plant Holiday will be observed.

July 1st, Canada Day falling on a Tuesday, a Wednesday, a Thursday, (or with respect to employees scheduled on a Modified Work Week subject to article 16:01 (iv), a Friday) may be observed by the Employer on the Monday, Friday (or with respect to employees scheduled subject to article 16:01 (iv), the Saturday) of the week in which the holiday occurs. The Employer shall give one week's (7 days') notice of the day on which the holiday will be observed.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Monday through Friday Landlord shall have the right to prescribe the weight, size and position of all safes and other heavy property brought into the Building and also the times and manner of moving the same in and out of the Building. Safes and other heavy objects shall, if considered necessary by Landlord, stand on supports of such thickness as is necessary to properly distribute the weight. Landlord will not be responsible for loss of or damage to any such safe or property in any case. Any damage to any part of the Building, its contents, occupants or visitors by moving or maintaining any such safe or other property shall be the sole responsibility and expense of Tenant.

  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest (a) When a paid holiday falls on an employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu.

  • Tax Periods Ending on or Before the Closing Date Buyer shall prepare or cause to be prepared and file or cause to be filed all Tax Returns for the Company and the Company Subsidiary for all periods ending on or prior to the Closing Date which are required to be filed (taking into account all extensions properly obtained) after the Closing Date.

  • Break Time For daily work assignments of six or more hours, permanent and probationary employees (except bus drivers and bus aides) shall be entitled to one 15-minute break for each half of the work assignment. For work assignments of less than six hours, such employees shall be entitled to one 15-minute break. Employees who spend a majority of the workday working with a Video Display Terminal (VDT) shall be permitted to perform other job-related duties (i.e., work not involving use of a VDT) 10 continuous minutes out of each hour. Such time shall not be cumulative and shall be in addition to break time established above.

  • Crib Time 17.6.1 An employee working overtime shall be allowed a crib time of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked provided the employee continues working after such crib time.

  • Monday morning (2) The employee should not work more than 16 hours without an 8 hour break.
