Common use of Joint Safety Committee Clause in Contracts

Joint Safety Committee. The Union will select three (3) members of the Union and the Company will appoint a like number from the supervisory staff, to serve on a joint Company and Union Safety Committee. The President of the Union shall be an ex-officio member of this Committee. Members of the Safety Committee shall not suffer loss of pay for such duties performed under this clause Joint Meetings The Joint Safety Committee will meet once each month to discuss safety and health problems and make recommendations for the maintenance of proper safety standards.
