Substitute Teachers In lieu of salary under the Basic Salary Schedule, the District shall pay to teachers employed on the basis of the teacher being available for service if and when called upon by the District, and known as Substitute Teachers, an allowance of $217.04 per day of teaching effective September 1, 2011.
