Innovative Work Schedules/ Flexible Work Schedules. A flexible schedule is defined as a work schedule that requires a change, modification or waiver of certain provisions of this Agreement. Flexible work schedules may be established in writing by mutual agreement between the Swedish Medical Center and the employee involved. See Addendums for specific work schedules. Prior to the implementation of a new flexible work schedule, the Employer and the Union will review and determine conditions of employment relating to that new work schedule. Where flexible work schedules are utilized, the Employer retains the right to revert back to an eight (8) hour per day schedule or a flexible schedule recognized by this Agreement after at least thirty (30) days advance notice to the employee, or pay in lieu of notice.

Flexible work schedules may be established by mutual agreement between the Xxxxxx and the employee involved. Prior to the implementation of a new flexible work schedule, the Employer and the affected employee(s) will review and determine conditions of employment relating to that new work schedule. Where the flexible work schedules are utilized, the Employer retains the right to revert back to the employees’ work schedule that was in effect immediately before the innovative work schedule, provided the Employer gives fourteen (14) days advance notice to the employee(s), or less notice by mutual consent between the Employer and employee(s).

  • Flexible Work Schedules (a) Academic Professional staff members throughout the University may have, as indicated below, flexible work schedules. For example, Academic Professionals often travel on University business and/or work evenings and weekends. A flexible work schedule is defined as having established working hours different from the standard 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday schedule, to be followed by an employee for an agreed upon period of time.

  • Alternative Work Schedules Alternative work schedule means an approved schedule for an Employee that deviates from the work week described in Section 1, Section 2, or a schedule that deviates from a worksite’s normal schedule. Employees who work a “shift work schedule” as part of a rotating group of individuals who must continuously maintain a 24-hour operation or facility are not eligible for an alternative work schedule.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the work schedules meet federal and state laws.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Alternate Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established for overtime-eligible employees by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the alternate work schedules meet federal and state law. When there is a holiday, employees may be required to switch from their alternate work schedules to regular work schedules.

  • NORMAL WORK SCHEDULES 112. Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, a “normal work day” is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours completed within not more than nine (9) hours. The normal work week for employees covered by this agreement is 40 hours.

  • HOURS OF WORK AND WORK SCHEDULES 22.01 Except for employees subject to a particular work schedule according to clause 22.10, the duration of the regular work week is established at thirty-five (35) hours generally worked between 9:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday.
