Information Security and Non disclosure of Information (Proprietary to the Government or protected by the Privacy Act); Contractor employees working in Government Facilities shall be required to sign statements of non-disclosure and/or use of any information gained while during the course of their work. This includes use by the Contractor for any purpose other than accomplishing work included in this Contract. Contractor employees who do not sign or disclose or use information shall be replaced by the Contractor immediately. The Contractor shall remain responsible for timely completion of the Task Order. The Contract Office shall assess the damage to the Government resulting from the disclosure and assess penalties in accordance with Federal Law and Regulation.

  • Information Security IET information security management practices, policies and regulatory compliance requirements are aimed at assuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Customer information. The UC Xxxxx Cyber-safety Policy, UC Xxxxx Security Standards Policy (PPM Section 310-22), is adopted by the campus and IET to define the responsibilities and key practices for assuring the security of UC Xxxxx computing systems and electronic data.

  • UNION SECURITY AND CHECKOFF 5:01 It shall be a condition of continued employment for all employees including probationary employees, as defined in Article 2, to become members and maintain membership in good standing in the Union.

  • UNION SECURITY AND REPRESENTATION 501 The Employer agrees to deduct an amount equal to the current Union dues as directed in writing by the Manitoba Nurses’ Union from each nurse in the bargaining unit, whether a member of the Union or not. Such letter shall include any dues exemptions. The Employer shall forward such dues to the Manitoba Nurses’ Union by the 15th day of the following month together with a list of the names of nurses from the facility for whom deductions have been made and a list of the names of all nurses newly hired/terminated/on leave of absence for a period of four (4) weeks or longer. Electronic copies of the lists will be provided with specifications as per attached memorandum. The Employer also agrees to deduct once annually the amount of any special general assessment made by the Union. The Union shall notify the Employer, in writing, of the amount of the assessment at least one (1) month in advance of the end of the pay period in which the deductions are to be made. The Employer agrees to provide each newly hired nurse with a Union Membership Form at the time of hiring. A nurse who chooses to complete the Union Membership Form shall forward the completed Union Membership Form to the Local President. 502 The Employer agrees to deduct union dues and the amount of any special general assessment in arrears upon receiving written authorization from the Union, and the Union agrees that all nurses to which the foregoing applies shall be given advance notice of the requested adjustment; and the Union further agrees to make refunds to nurses in the event of an overdeduction of dues. 503 When a nurse makes known to the Employer or the Union that she/he is a member of a religious group which has as one of its articles of faith the belief that members of the group are precluded from being members of or financially supporting any union or professional association, the matter shall be dealt with in accordance with section 76(3) of the Labour Relations Act of Manitoba. 504 The Union shall notify the Employer in writing of any change in the amount of dues at least one (1) month in advance of the end of the pay period in which the deductions are to be made; however, such change shall not be made more frequently than once in a twelve (12) month period. 505 The Union shall save the Employer harmless from any claims from nurses covered by this Agreement as a result of dues or special general assessments having been collected in accordance with the terms of this Article.

  • Security and Confidentiality Technical and organisational security measures must be taken by the data controller that are appropriate to the risks, such as against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, presented by the processing. Any person acting under the authority of the data controller, including a processor, must not process the data except on instructions from the data controller.

  • UNION SECURITY AND CHECK-OFF 5.01 All present seniority employees who are currently members of the Union will be required to continue to be members of the Union as a condition of employment for the duration of this Agreement.

  • Information Security Program (1) DTI shall implement and maintain a comprehensive written information security program applicable to the Personal Information ("Information Security Program") which shall include commercially reasonable measures, including, as appropriate, policies and procedures and technical, physical, and administrative safeguards that are consistent with industry standards, providing for (i) the security and confidentiality of the Personal Information, (ii) protection of the Personal Information against reasonably foreseeable threats or hazards to the security or integrity of the Personal Information, (iii) protection against unauthorized access to or use of or loss or theft of the Personal Information, and (iv) appropriate disposal of the Personal Information. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Information Security Program shall provide for (i) continual assessment and re-assessment of the risks to the security of Personal Information acquired or maintained by DTI and its agents, contractors and subcontractors in connection with the Services, including but not limited to (A) identification of internal and external threats that could result in unauthorized disclosure, alteration or destruction of Personal Information and systems used by DTI and its agents, contractors and subcontractors, (B) assessment of the likelihood and potential damage of such threats, taking into account the sensitivity of such Personal Information, and (C) assessment of the sufficiency of policies, procedures, information systems of DTI and its agents, contractors and subcontractors, and other arrangements in place, to control risks; and (ii) appropriate protection against such risks.

  • Security and Data Privacy Each party will comply with applicable data privacy laws governing the protection of personal data in relation to their respective obligations under this Agreement. Where Siemens acts as Customer’s processor of personal data provided by Customer, the Data Privacy Terms available at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx/dpt/sw, including the technical and organizational measures described therein, apply to the use of the relevant Learning Services and are incorporated herein by reference.

  • Information Security Requirements In cases where the State is not permitted to manage/modify the automation equipment (server/computer/other) that controls testing or monitoring devices, the Contractor agrees to update and provide patches for the automation equipment and any installed operating systems or applications on a quarterly basis (at minimum). The Contractor will submit a report to the State of updates installed within 30 days of the installation as well as a Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) to remediate any vulnerabilities ranging from Critical to Low. The contractor will provide an upgrade path or compensatory security controls for any operating systems and applications listed as beyond “end-of-life” or EOL, within 90 days of the EOL and complete the EOL system’s upgrade within 90 days of the approved plan.

  • UNION SECURITY AND DUES 3.01 All employees will be required to pay Union dues or the equivalent of Union Dues as a condition of employment, and that amount shall be deducted from the wages of each employee employed in any position within the bargaining unit described in Article 2 of this Agreement.

  • Security and Data Transfers Party shall comply with all applicable State and Agency of Human Services' policies and standards, especially those related to privacy and security. The State will advise the Party of any new policies, procedures, or protocols developed during the term of this agreement as they are issued and will work with the Party to implement any required. Party will ensure the physical and data security associated with computer equipment, including desktops, notebooks, and other portable devices, used in connection with this Agreement. Party will also assure that any media or mechanism used to store or transfer data to or from the State includes industry standard security mechanisms such as continually up-to-date malware protection and encryption. Party will make every reasonable effort to ensure media or data files transferred to the State are virus and spyware free. At the conclusion of this agreement and after successful delivery of the data to the State, Party shall securely delete data (including archival backups) from Party’s equipment that contains individually identifiable records, in accordance with standards adopted by the Agency of Human Services. Party, in the event of a data breach, shall comply with the terms of Section 7 above.
