Common use of In-Service Examination Clause in Contracts

In-Service Examination. ‌ Employees shall be permitted to write any in-service examination required by the Employer, in the employee's field of work, upon the completion of the necessary term of service and/or training programs. Employees who fail an in-service examination shall, upon request, receive a copy of their examination paper and shall be eligible to be re-examined at the next available sitting after completion of a further three months' service. This provision shall not apply to examinations set as a condition of initial employment.
