Hours of Work and Compensation. Section 1. Basic 40-hour workweek The standard workday shall be defined as eight (8) hours a day, not including a meal period. The standard workweek shall be defined as five (5) 8-hour days for a total of forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday. A pay period consists of 80 hours over a two week period.
