Holidays On Regular Day Off. For employees with a regular work schedule of Monday through Friday, if the holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee will earn a regular day of compensatory time at the regular hourly rate of pay. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee will have the following Monday scheduled as a day off with pay, at the regular hourly rate of pay. For employees who do not have a regular work schedule of Monday through Friday, if the holiday falls on the employee's day off, the employee will earn a regular day of compensatory time at the regular hourly rate of pay.
