Holiday Payout upon Separation. When eligible employees retire or leave City employment for any reason, the City shall compensate them for any holiday time earned and unused. For the purposes of calculating a holiday payout upon separation, eligible employees in Operations shall be credited with earning holidays on a pro-rata basis of 12 hours per month of time worked in the calendar year in which the separation occurs, less holidays previously used.
