GROUP T Continuing Education. Subject to the operating needs of the University and the approval of the XxXxxxxx Assistant Director of Clinical Support Services, paid time off will be granted to employees to attend professional or educational meetings, workshops, or conferences (“continuing education events”) held outside the XxXxxxxx Health Center. Employees will give their supervisor at least two (2) weeks’ notice of their intent to attend such continuing education events. If an employee attends such continuing education events on their scheduled day off, the employee shall be allowed equal hours of compensatory time to be used at a later date. The XxXxxxxx Health Center reserves the right to establish and implement reasonable policies and procedures for seeking and being approved to attend continuing education events, as well as for requesting and being reimbursed for reasonable expenses.
